I want to be a footnote

that’s all I long to be.

Not wanting to be noticed

just glorifying Thee.

At the bottom of the page

with a number by my name.

It says of me she always was

aware of her feeble frame.

Not ever really wanting to

be on the Title pages

Just content to be a footnote

to the God of all the ages.
